The congress venue is the Concert Hall in Aarhus. The European Council for Continuing Medical Education has granted the congress 15 CME credits. The organising committee consists of Professor Kjeld Søballe, MD, PhD (President); Professor Søren Overgaard, MD, PhD (Scientific Committee); Associate Professor Per Kjærsgaard-Andersen, MD (President for the Danish Orthopaedic Society), Bo Sanderhoff Olsen, MD, PhD (Treasurer) and Associate Professor Michael Ulrich-Vinther, MD, PhD (PR).
Scientific Committee
The Scientific Committee consists of Professor Søren Overgaard, MD, PhD; representatives from each participating country: Norwegian Orthopaedic Association, Swedish Orthopaedic Association, Finnish Orthopaedic Association, Icelandic Orthopaedic Association, Dutch Orthopaedic Association and Danish Orthopaedic Society.
Accreditation Statement
The 55th Nordic Orthopaedic Federation Congress, 4 to 7 May 2010 Aarhus, is accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME) to provide the following CME activity for medical specialists. The EACCME is an institution of the European Union of Medical Specialist (UEMS), www.uems.net
The 55th Nordic Orthopaedic Federation Congress is designated for a maximum of 15 hours of European external EMC credits. Each medical specialist should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent in education activity. EACCME credits are recognised by the American Medical Association towards the Physician´s Recognition Award (PRA). To convert EACCME credit to AMA PRA category 1 credit, contact the AMA.
